The San Diego Rescue Mission started in 1955 and currently serves 270+ clients in our year-long men’s, women’s and children’s programs. We also have an emergency overnight shelter serving 60+ women and children.  Our material donation programs supplies clothing and household items to clients in addition to supplying our 3 thrift stores that generates additional financial income. The stores and warehouse / distribution center also gives work training opportunities for SDRM’s residents.  Partners for Hunger Relief, our food recovery program partners with over 100 businesses and organizations annually collecting approximately 5 million pounds of food that would otherwise be thrown away.    Contact information (888) SDRESCUE (737-3728) and our web page is www.sdrescue.org  John Suderman
